Mindfulness is a way of connecting with out experience in an open and non-judgmental way.
Mindfulness allows us to deal more effectively with stress and live with more ease and balance.
While it. has its roots in Buddhist mediation, Mindfulness is now also taught in a secular way that is open to everyone.
We run 8 week mindfulness courses in Nottingham.
Our courses are based on Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Courses and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy.
They are designed to help with stress, low mood, and to help us all deal more effectively with life’s ups and downs.
About the teacher
Our courses are taught by Jake Dartington, who has been practising meditation since 1995.
He trained at Gaia House and Bangor university’s Centre for Mindfulness Practice and Research and is registered with the UK Mindfulness Teachers’ Network.
He teaches with Gaia House, London Insight, Brussels Mindfulness, Bahia Yoga, Nottinghamshire NHS Trust and the Mindfulness Network.
