The next Mindfulness course will begin on September 21st and run for eight consecutive weeks. This 8 week mindfulness course is based on the MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Courses) developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and the 8 week MBCT (Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy) courses developed by Zindel Segal, Mark Williams and John Teasdale in the UK.
Home practice is a very important part of the course and you will be given a handbook and a CD of guided meditations to help you with this. There will be no more than fifteen people in this group so there will be plenty of opportunity for interaction with the teacher.

The course includes guided meditations, opportunities to reflect on what we discover, guidance and feedback on home practice. It will include working with the breath, sounds, thoughts, difficult emotions and mindful movement.
